New Mexico is La Tierra Encantada, the land of enchantment! From our mountains to our plains, we have good if not excellent hunting statewide. We have been recognized as one of the best states for producing trophy antelope, elk, lion, mule deer and bear in the nation. Along with this, we boast a friendly warm people who welcome all visitors to our state.

Tierra Encantada Outfitter/Guides has operated professionally for over 40 years. We have been fortunate in that we have built a clientele of wonderful people and have obtained leases on some of the best private land ranches in the state. We have taken a serious position as far as being committed to the people we serve and the game animals that we harvest. We realize that it is important to keep abreast of the biological data concerning the game and to pay close attention so that we are able to assure the opportunity for our hunters to harvest trophy class animals year after year. Game management programs are in effect on all our lease. It takes a little extra time and effort to do this, but we feel is a necessary step towards a sound foundation for the future.

We are a family run operation providing the best in food and accommodations - hopefully making your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. I personally guide on all my hunts so that my guides don't get to have all the fun. As I stated before, we hunt mainly on private land. I believe this ensures the best opportunity for harvesting quality game. I am personally familiar and affiliated with the major hunt organizations in the nation, and in our state. I have served for several years as an officer in some of these organizations.
